Our Privacy Principles
No Personal Data
We never ask for your name, email address, or an account. Nothing you type into a calculator is ever sent to us.
Anonymous Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which apps people find useful. It records the pages you open — never the values you enter.
Client-Side Only
All calculations are performed locally in your browser. No data is sent to our servers.
Transparent
We're open about our privacy practices. This policy clearly explains what we do (and don't do).
What We Don't Collect
Personal Information
We don't collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personally identifiable information.
Cross-Site Tracking
We don't use advertising networks, and we don't follow you across other websites or build an advertising profile of you.
Calculation Data
We don't see the numbers you enter into calculators or the results you get. Everything stays in your browser.
Precise Location
We never request GPS or precise location access. Google Analytics estimates only a general area (such as city or region) from your IP address, which it does not store.
How Our Platform Works
Client-Side Processing
When you use any calculator on netPinoy Apps:
- You enter data into a calculator in your web browser
- All calculations are performed locally using JavaScript
- Results are displayed in your browser
- Your inputs and results are never transmitted to us or to anyone else
- Nothing you enter is stored, on our side or Google's
Technical Architecture
Our platform is built as a static website using NuxtJS. This means:
- No backend servers process your data
- No databases store your information
- No APIs receive your input
- Every calculation happens entirely within your device
Privacy by Design
This architecture was intentionally chosen to maximize your privacy. We believe privacy shouldn't be an optional feature - it should be the foundation. Analytics tells us which apps are worth improving; it never tells us anything about you.
Third-Party Services
netPinoy Apps is served as static files by Cloudflare. Like all web hosts, Cloudflare processes standard request data (such as your IP address) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don't have access to or control over those logs.
We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand which apps are being used, described in detail in the next section. Apart from these two, we use no other third-party services.
Analytics & Cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how netPinoy Apps is used - how many people visit, and which apps are worth improving. This is the only tracking on the platform.
What it records
- The pages you open on this site, and their titles
- The site or search engine that referred you here, if any
- Your general area (city or region), estimated from your IP address
- Basic device information: browser, operating system, and screen size
- A randomly generated ID, stored in a cookie, so repeat visits aren't counted twice
What it never records
- The numbers or details you enter into any calculator
- Your results - these are computed and displayed entirely in your browser
- Your name, email address, or any way to identify you personally
- Your exact location, or your IP address in stored form (Google discards it)
Opting out
You can block analytics entirely and the apps will keep working exactly as they do now - nothing on this platform depends on it. Use your browser's cookie or tracking-protection settings, any content blocker, or Google's official opt-out browser add-on.
In short
Analytics tells us that a calculator was opened. It never tells us who opened it, or what they typed into it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your privacy.
Our Commitment
Your calculator data stays in your browser - that part is architectural, not a policy we could quietly change. Beyond anonymous visit statistics, we're committed to collecting nothing, and any future changes to this policy will continue to prioritize your privacy.
